This week in the US we celebrate our traditional Thanksgiving holiday. But clearly, saying "Thank You" is a universal expression found in different languages and cultures around the world. As you join with family and friends this week to give thanks, recognize that although we are different in many ways, separated by language, customs, geography, history and culture we are connected by the universal need to give thanks, to express our gratitude for blessings large and small. No
matter what the language, thanksgiving comes from the heart. Enjoy the beauty of each of the following expressions of "thank you" and reflect on these words from teacher Meister Eckhart: "If the only prayer you ever said was 'thank you,' it would be enough."
